Refunds & Returns Policy

This Refunds and Returns Policy applies to purchases made from Goldex Limited trading as Portable Building Specialists ("we", "us", or "our") in New Zealand.

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for change of mind, incorrect selection, or any reason other than where required by applicable New Zealand law or where we agree otherwise in writing.

Because many of our products are made to order, customised, sourced specifically for a customer, or involve delivery and logistics planning, customers must review all order details carefully before confirming a purchase.

No change-of-mind refunds or returns

Once an order has been accepted, you cannot cancel it simply because you changed your mind.

We do not accept returns or provide refunds because:

• you no longer want the product
• you found a cheaper alternative elsewhere
• you selected the wrong product, size, layout, or specification
• you failed to check whether the product was suitable for your intended use

Deposits and payments

Unless we agree otherwise in writing, any deposit paid is non-refundable.

Any cancellation request after an order is accepted may be refused. If we do agree to a cancellation, we may retain all or part of any amounts paid to cover costs already incurred by us.

Damaged, defective, or non-compliant goods

Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986, or any other mandatory New Zealand law.

If a product is faulty, damaged on delivery, or does not comply with applicable consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded by law, please contact us as soon as possible with:

• your name and contact details
• proof of purchase
• a description of the issue
• photographs or supporting information where available

Where required by law, we will assess the issue and provide an appropriate remedy. Depending on the circumstances and what New Zealand law requires, that remedy may include repair, replacement, or refund.

Inspection on delivery

You should inspect products promptly after delivery or collection. If you believe a product has arrived damaged or is not what you ordered, notify us as soon as reasonably possible.
